Request to: 1) approve a resolution authorizing the County’s participation in a one-time funding allocation for FY 2020-21 through FY 2022-23 in the total amount of $291,435 from the California Department of Public Health (CDPH), Division of Communicable Disease Control (DCDC), for local public health infrastructure to address infectious disease prevention and control; 2) direct the chairperson to sign a grant agreement to implement the infectious disease prevention and control project; 3) approve a resolution amending the Position Allocation List for FC 160 - Public Health to add 0.75 FTE Limited Term Health Education Specialist through June 30, 2023 to address infectious disease prevention and control; and 4) authorize a corresponding budget adjustment to increase the FC 160 - Public Health budget in the amount of the $76,460 to address infectious disease prevention and control, by 4/5 vote.
